| I am having a problem with my auto climate control in my '91tt. The air that comes out is always hot, this leads me to believe that the air mix and or the heater core valve actuators are malfunctioning. I've tried a few time to use the " Auto Climate Diagnotics" but 2 things seem to get in the way; 1. My climate control doesn't seem to have an "AMB" display, only "SET". I'm not sure if it's an option that I can punch in but, I haven't been able to bring up an amb display. Could I possibly have a dreaded '90 climate control?? 2. I realize that it's me but, when you cycle through the diagnostics how do you know what the display is reading and what the readout means?? I've read the FSM a few times and just don't get it! (like I said, it's me!!!) If someone could give me a brief discription (it doesn't have to be brief!) of how to perform a diagnostics on the air mix doors/heater valve, it would be greatly appreciated!!! I'm just trying to get a definative answer to if my actuators are done and if I have to come up with new/functioning ones. This constant warm/hot air thing is getting old this summer!!!
